Tom Fleming:

Paul Stalker was a Maj (I think) when I arrived in country and was assigned to D Troop. I was assigned initially to the Weapons Section, Paul was the section leader, took me under his wing and provided me with my in country orientation flights. Maj Stalker was an infusion to D Troop. Where he was previously assigned is not known to me.

Upon the big troop assignment change - over in March 1967 he became Flight Operations Officer. I worked closely with him on a daily basis as Service Plat. Ldr/Maintenance Officer. He DEROSed in mid summer about the time the 1967 Major's list arrived and Frank Delvy took over Flt Opns , On that Maj list were myself, Harold Fischer, Bill Vinson, & Bill Wilde in that DoR order. The next (and final) contact I had with Paul Stalker was an encounter at a Friday Night happy hour at th Ft Rucker Officer's Club in March 1968 while attending FW Multiengine Course. He as quite cordial and desired an up date on D Troop.
