Michael Peake comments: Linford Riniker and Tom Sackett were SP5 Armament Specialists and I can't remember who the Armament NCOIC was...short burly curly-headed Staff Sergeant with a scrawny mustache. Aside from Demayo, there may have been a couple of others, but can't recall names. We later picked up Carillio, another armament specialist we went to school with. He had been left at Da Nang and came up later. As I mentioned, Sackett was a major fan of of Eddie Arnold and Jim Reeves. Either that, or it was the only two recordings he had. Believe Sackett and Riniker both left about the same time. Dec 2023
