Jim went into the service from Hillsboro, Texas at about 17 years of age in 1956.  He was on his 16th day in Vietnam when he was killed.  He started his tour on February 5, 1968 and was killed on February 21, 1968.  

Jim was married and is buried in the Hardin Memorial Park Cemetery in Elizabeth Town, Hardin County, Kentucky. 

His wife Dorothy was listed as living in Copperas Cove, Texas at the time of his death.
